膝が痛い・・そのときあなたは
もし、あなたが中高年の女性の場合、最近椅子から立ち上がったときに膝が痛いと感じたことはありませんか？
階段を降りるとき、膝の内側が痛んだことはありませんか？
痛いのが我慢できず、整形外科を受診すると、レントゲン撮影の後、ほぼ間違いなく『変形性膝関節症』といわれる可能性があります。
人間の膝の関節は若いときは硝子(ガラス)軟骨といって非常に摩擦の少ない軟骨同士と半月板のクッションの働きで、体重の何倍もの力が加わっても、素早い動きになめらかに対応して痛みもなく活動できます。しかし、年齢を経るに従って軟骨の厚みが薄くなり、傷のついた硝子軟骨を線維軟骨という組織で修復されたり、半月板の柔らかさがなくなったりして、痛みを伴う炎症が出やすくなってきます。これが、変形性膝関節症です。
整形外科で診断されても、痛み止めが出されただけで、痛み止めの薬を飲むのを辞めたら、また痛くなった。整形外科にかかっても、薬を出されてお終いだから行きたくない。膝に注射をしても良くならない。人工膝関節の手術を勧められるけれど、手術を受けたくない。
諦めないで下さい
